Collection: Spirit of the forgotten collection

Spirit of the Forgotten – NYFW Debut

Unveiled on the prestigious stage of New York Fashion Week, Spirit of the Forgotten is a poetic journey into memory, heritage, and rebirth.

This collection breathes life into stories nearly lost to time — inspired by the sacred temples of Angkor, the flow of Cambodian rivers, and the fragile beauty of wild blossoms. Every look is hand-crafted with intricate embroidery, 3D floral appliqué, and couture tailoring, blending ancient motifs with a contemporary silhouette.

Beyond fashion, Spirit of the Forgotten holds a deeply personal meaning. It is Taing Sokhang’s tribute to her beloved father, who passed away just as she set foot in New York. His unwavering support and encouragement became the driving force behind this debut — turning grief into creative strength, and making this runway presentation a celebration of his enduring love.

More than a collection, this is an ode to resilience — a reminder that even the most distant memories can rise again with new power, shimmering under the spotlight.
